Proving burgers don’t have to clog the arteries. This amazing vegan burger recipe is from #TeamBulk ambassador @healthyliciousvegan, and whether you’re vegan or just keen to cut down on the meat you eat, this one is for you.
Ingredients (makes 10 burgers)
- 500g cooked kidney beans
- 150g cooked Quinoa
- 1 red onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 beetroot
- 4 tbsp Instant Oats
- 1 tsp Garlic & Herb Active Seasoning
- 1 tsp Smoke & Spice Active Seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Coconut Oil for frying
Instructions
- Blend the beans, beetroot, onion and garlic in a food processor
- Add the mixture to a bowl and add all of the other ingredients, mixing well with your hands
- Shape into 10 burger patties
- Fry with some coconut oil until crispy
- Build your burger with your preferred toppings, and enjoy!
